Main Features

  • Robust steel shell: Constructed from high-quality Q235 steel plates (6 mm thick) and structural channels, welded to form a cylindrical shape. The shell is designed for strength and can be lifted and transported as a complete unit. The exterior is coated with high-temperature silver-gray paint and features warning labels for safety.

  • Advanced non-crucible lining: The lining, in direct contact with molten aluminum, is made of non-stick alumina castable to resist chemical and thermal attack. Electrical Control System

  • Independent control cabinet: Dimensions 800×600×300 mm. The outer door houses the instrument panel with ammeter, voltmeter, temperature controller, and push-button switches. The inner door contains power switches, current transformers, thyristor power regulators, contactors, and other components for a neat and organized layout.

  • Advanced PID temperature controller: Features a liquid crystal display for easy setting of temperature and holding parameters. It includes multi-functional alarms. The thermocouple signal is amplified and processed, and the digital controller outputs a 4–20 mA signal to the thyristor regulator, which adjusts the firing angle to achieve control accuracy of ±1°C. The system offers thermocouple calibration, power limiting, and over-temperature alarm with interlock protection.

  • Dual thermocouple system: A K-type ceramic thermocouple (16 mm diameter) monitors furnace chamber temperature, while a right-angle thermocouple with silicon nitride protection tube (40 mm diameter) directly measures molten aluminum temperature for precise control.
